Hic Sunt Draconesby ~G220

Traditional Art / Drawings / Fantasy

A week of work and finally it is done.

Made with many different graphite pencils, three different hardnesses of charcoal, and a colored pencil or two.

Took 1 week, around 15-20 hours cumulatively.

EDIT: I rescanned it and added a border. It looks a bit cleaner now and you can see the whole image. The right side was cut off before.

Ah. So it is charcoal.

Charcoal is definitely my favorite thing to work with, as far as real media is concerned. Charcoal pencils help, too. It's hard to draw with detail when just using one of those larger chunks.
